Mysterious AL

Mysterious al is an artist from London. He started-off making characters on the street in 2001 and found himself at the forefront of a new art movement called ‘Street-art’. In 2003, alongside friend and contemporary D*face, he started the now infamous ‘Finders Keepers Crew’ who were notorious for their disruptive illegal street exhibitions. He’s painted and exhibited extensively around Europe.

More recently Al produces paintings based on abstract tribal masks. His work is playful, colourful and spontaneous, but look closer. There’s always something behind a smile.
